Gonna try to get back into this whole DA thing!
I'm terrible at this.
But now I have more pretty pictures to put up so this will need to happen.
It's been a busy past couple months! All of us at DCScosplay have been working super hard lately, but the hard work has paid off! We just had two back to back cons, Sakura-con and CCEE. We were finally able to debut our first round of Sengoku Basara costumes at Sakura-con this year and it was a blast!!
Now we're 16 days off the next con, Otafest! We're all working on our costumes for that one!
Expect to see lots from us regarding this in the future!
On a slightly related note, my younger brother and I have just opened up commissions. Expect to see some more regarding that after Otafest!

Otafest has come and gone and I now have just under two months to prepare for the next convention on my list, Ai-Kon!
These past few months have been crazy busy with Sakuracon, CCEE and Otafest spaced so closely together, but the convention experiences have definitely been worth it!!
Photos of the costumes I took to each of these conventions will be coming shortly! I have done two professional shoots (One solo of Wonder Woman and a Legend of Zelda group shoot with TP Zelda) which I will be able to start uploading soon! Other shoots have also taken place with Sheena and Batwoman and once I have access to those photos we will also be seeing some of those as well!
Coming up in the near future will be a Borderlands shoot with a large group of talented cosplayers over in the badlands of Drumheller! I will be starting on Sheriff ASAP as that shoot is scheduled for the end of June.
I'm also going to begin preparing my line up for Ai Kon in Winnepeg! More details for that will come closer to the date, but both YueCos and I have a pretty awesome bro times line up in place for that one! I can't wait for it!

Oh hey look who's actually using their DA!
A lot has happened since I last updated, so expect to see various photos popping up around here in the next little bit. I figured I should actually...post...things. Mostly because my photographer (yes. Mine. I'm posessive.) is fucking brilliant and I don't want her hard work to go to waste (and not posting these photos is like a sin).
Cosplay photos you can expect to see popping up in the next couple of weeks:
-Sailor Moon (Sailor Neptune) from the Uranus/Neptune shoot done with BlueWingXIII and photographed by Kyouheikutie.
-the GazettE (Uruha) from our the Gazette shoot with BlueWingXIII Vespher DepthCharge7 and Tomdiepstrap, photographed once again by the lovely Kyouheikutie.
-Pokemon (Pikachu) from the Ash & Pikachu shoot with BlueWingXIII, photograhed by Kyouheikutie.
-Saiyuki (Sanzo) from the Sanzo/Goku shoot done with BlueWingXIII and photographed by Kyouheikutie.
-Photos from featuring myself wearing awesome zombie makeup from the Zombie photoshoot arranged and photographed by Kyouheikutie, featuring many others.
In the works: Some friends and I have set a date for a Tales of Symphonia shoot in mid November, where I shall be appearing as Sheena. I'm very much looking forward to this shoot, as I'm incredibly comfortable as Sheena and she's very dear to my heart. Keep an eye out for that!
Also my dear friend YueCos has recently bought a lovely camera and is looking for some guinea pigs to practice on, so I think another Sanzo/Goku shoot is in the works and some others may pop up as well. We shall see!

MidnightSunAlchemist tagged me in her journal, so I figured that since I haven't even posted a journal yet I may as well complete it What a wonderful way for you to all get to know me~

1 - I graduated high school in 2007 and in a few weeks (!! OH GOD) I'm finally starting University
I'm starting with a BA in Ancient History and/or archeology but hope to eventually work my way up to a PhD in Egyptology
2 - Cosplay has become my addiction. It's really all I think about anymore.
3 - During my last year of high school a new Art teacher started. She was told she also had to teach Fashions. She had never sewn in her life. I taught her how.
4 - I'm a bit of a work-a-holic. I'm technically employeed in three different places, but I usually only work two of those jobs at a time. (The third is very flexible.) On average I'll work between 60 and 80 hours a week. That will all change once I start school, of course.
5 - My favourite band is the visual kei band the GazettE. I have quite the collection of their merchandise. No, really. We're talking a few thousand dollars worth.
6 - Another thing that I spend way to much money on is manga. I currently have a bookcase and a half full.
7 - I am a proud member of DragonCitySquad. These guys have really helped me over the past few months even though it may not seem like it. I'm not used to having trustworthy or genuine friends. It's to the point where I get paranoid that they're really just pretending to like me (Even though I know it's not true.) Having true friends is seriously amazing.
8 - I own way way waaay too many shoes.
9 - Change terrifies me. I'm actually really scared about starting university. I'm afraid of failure.
10 - One day, I will own many dogs. I will be like a crazy cat lady. But with dogs.
I write novels for answers. Hurrr.
Coming up soon (Tomorrow actually!) We have a Liz and Patty shoot! MidnightSunAlchemist will be debuting her Patty cosplay and will be my wonderful sister for this shoot! I am quite excited for this! Can't wait 'till morning!
Also I've half-written a journal for Animethon, which I'll get around to finishing some time It was a wonderful weekend for the most part! So look for that!
